Nuevo Mundo is a magazine covering pop culture in Latin America. The audience for this magazine was Latin American born, mostly raised Latinos, and US American Latinos trying to reconnect with their roots. Considering the audience, the magazine is thus in both Spanish and English. It was very important that I left out as much US American culture as I could so that the magazine would be more interesting to Latin American born people.

Color was used to differentiate the two languages and varied from article to article. The overall tone had to be professional, welcoming, and energetic, in order to properly celebrate the lively inviting cultures throughout Latin America.
